Building on Success: How Retail Broking Firms Can Grow Their Business by Making Clients the “Central Pillar”
February 24 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Broking firms that serve a retail client base are in a great space at present. Day trading has become very popular worldwide since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Activity “increased dramatically” in the first quarter of 2020 compared with 2019, according to data analysed by Cerulli Associates. Several firms that offer broking services to retail clients have reported that visits to their website giving instructions on trading stocks have nearly quadrupled. Meanwhile, trading apps like Robinhood are seeing a surge in business.
With this increase in business will come an increase in scrutiny from the regulator. Firms have a big obligation to protect their clients and the FCA particularly views retail clients as being most vulnerable.
How can firms demonstrate they are doing the right thing for their clients at all costs?
In this event Corellian Academy will discuss how firms can use this opportunity to grow their business, create better client outcomes and also show how the success of educating clients will help broking firms with any regulatory oversight.
This session will demonstrate how firms can:
- Create a more loyal client base by investing in training for success;
- How firms can increase their direct client engagement;
- How firms can demonstrate that their clients are the ‘central pillar’ to their business and be able to evidence this at all times to the regulator.
Corellian Academy is a firm with a broad and rich experience of staff who have created a trading program that covers financial products, trading strategy, psychology of trading and trading structure.
