Join the STA, ACI UK and The Broker Club for what promises to be an interesting and lively debate where technical and fundamental analysts will give their view on the Outlook for Crypto in 2022.

Our panel of experts – representing  fundamental and technical analysis perspectives – will provide expert input on key issues that will influence and impact the outlook for the year ahead.

Moderated by Gavin Wells, ACI UK Executive Committee Member panellists include:

Geoff Kendrick
Geoff is Head of EM FX Research, West and Crypto Research, Standard Chartered Bank, leading several efforts across the Global Research macro strategy offering. These include EMEA and Latam FX, G10 FX in Europe, and Crypto Research. He joined the Bank in 2016 from Morgan Stanley, where he was the head of Asia rates and FX research based in Hong Kong. During his 20 years of financial-markets experience, he has held roles in macro strategy and FX research (both G10 and EM) in London, Sydney and Hong Kong. He holds an economics degree from Monash University in Melbourne and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Charlie Morris, MSTA
Charlie Morris is the chief investment officer at ByteTree Asset Management (BTAM). He is a lead portfolio manager and develops both crypto and traditional investment strategies for BTAM. He has 23 years’ experience in fund management, where he has built a reputation for managing actively managed, multi-asset portfolios, with an emphasis on efficient diversification and risk management. Although well versed in traditional asset classes, Charlie is best known for his expertise in alternative assets, notably gold and Bitcoin.

Nick Philpott
is a market structure specialist with 15 years of industry experience and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Zodia Markets, a cryptoasset brokerage and exchange business based in the UK. He joined Standard Chartered’s graduate programme in 2006 after a short career in the British Army. He followed that with roles in Financial Markets Sales in Lagos, Nigeria, and COO positions across FX, Rates, Credit and Repo trading in both London and Singapore.

Gavin Wells – Moderator
Gavin joined 360TGTX in February 2020 to further the development of their FX Swaps strategy. Following the successful trial of 360TGTX MidMatch he is working with market participants to ensure full and timely adoption of this market leading platform. From 2016 to 2019 he was the Head of Europe at Digital Asset, the New York-based provider of distributed ledger solutions for synchronizing business processes and multi-party workflows. Prior to that Gavin spent eight years at LCH / LSEG where his teams delivered the first clearing service for Foreign Exchange and rebuilt similar for Credit Default Swaps. Before that, Gavin worked at Citi for fifteen years in a variety of leadership roles spanning FX trading, e-commerce, algorithmic trading and prime brokerage.
